Adopting the fall as a starting point might just be a formal game aimed at overthrowing conventions. Applied to juggling, to the body and certain objects, this new point of view leads us to consider a new play area, where the end becomes the beginning of everything. It is not so easy to overturn rules that have shaped our existence, the seriousness with which the dancer has composed his art, the fall against which the juggler endlessly struggles. Browsing this universe cantered on the improbable contours of reality amounts to a misuse of the senses by the virtual world, a genuine instrument for the exploration of the impossible.
Adrien Mondot is a researcher in computer science with a passion for juggling, he is the founder of the company that bears his name. This multidisciplinary artist’s work lies at the point of intersection between the art of juggling and technological innovation. He has developed a system of virtual juggling using digital tools.
His artistic approach revolves around two axes: juggling techniques and developments in information technology that can be used for artistic creation. For him it is the idea of designing tools, in both graphics and sound, which attempt to explore the new opportunities and issues arising from the use of this technology.

Brief description of the technical installations
Projection System / augmented reality: It is a system of visual graphics and the choreography of virtual objects based on physical models, the system is able to handle an arbitrary number of sensitive information simultaneously, and a writing system of relationships between actual and virtual objects. eMotion is a new paradigm for digital management that has been under development for more than two years,.
Non-linear control of system operations : the development of the show itself is controlled by a genetic algorithm, which evolves during the rehearsals and performances, introducing a concept of directed mutation to the writing of the show.
Presentation of la compagnie Adrien M
Founded in 2004, la compagnie Adrien M has chosen the art of movement as its area of research: cantering on juggling and digital art as tools used to explore the imaginary. Two creations have emerged from this work: 1.0 Convergence in 2005, a singular and dreamlike exploration of juggling, and in reTime in 2006 which dissects temporal constructions. These creations have come to a complete a certain perception of juggling, which began in 2003 with Fausses Notes and Chutes de Balles, short, improvised “juggled” musical creations.
After 3 seasons at the Manege de Reims, the company is beginning a new journey throughout 2009 and 2012 with Hexagone, the national stage in Meylan, the venue chosen for its future experiments.
